Flowers, ice cream, and soccer

Last day before we meet the host families! The week has gone by so slowly because I feel like I’ve known everyone for a long time, but at the same time quickly because I’ve had such a blast.

After Maria talked to us about the school schedule for this year, we packed our bags, headed to lunch, bought flowers for our host mothers, and then I ate some gelato with Allie, Melissa, and Charlotte. Then I bought a soccer ball! We stopped at a car mechanic who filled it up for us. 

We played soccer in a little cement lot with two tiny nets. A little 4 year old boy came to join us, as well as his 2 year old sister.  (Rebecca’s picture)

3rd night at the Italian pizza place? You can count on it! Turns out Maria changed up all the family placements. Classic Maria. 

Blogging, last minute packing, and lots of gift wrapping. I should note that I’m used to the elevation now and pumped to meet my host family!
