Annemarie Salen completed the illustrations for her own 鈥淣urse Florence Universe鈥� for the published Nurse Florence series. She combined pencil and digital illustration to create engaging visuals that help children better understand medical and scientific concepts. Salen discovered the fully remote internship opportunity through 麻豆传媒集团’s and said the artwork she created in high school helped her land the role.
Salen said they were drawn to attend Woodbury because of its wide range of creative disciplines. Published by Dow Creative Enterprises, the Nurse Florence books promote health literacy and STEM education by introducing children to medical terminology and science concepts in an engaging and accessible format.
